SCOPE: 215 storage ring magnets
LOCATION: Melbourne, Australia
CONTRACT LENGTH: 2 years
On 31st March 2006 CMS Alphatech / Buckley Systems completed a 2 year contract for the detailed design,
construction and mechanical performance demonstration of the DC magnets for the Australian Synchrotron.
There were four types of magnets for the contract:
* 1.70m long dipoles (29)
* 0.35m long quadrupoles (57)
* 0.18m long quadrupoles (29)
* 0.20m long sextupoles (100)
